Birds Nest
These are a structure which is created by birds as a house to protect their eggs. It is made by natural materials but also random items which the birds would scavenge and find. Therefore they would all have their individualities and vary according to the bird and what materials are available to them.

Beaver Dam
This is a structure which is carefully built by the beavers from sticks and branches which they find around them. These have a number of purposes such as: protection against predators, to flood areas, to provide entrances to their dens, and also to help them access food. I think these seem like interesting structures because they appear like a mess of sticks but actually carefully built for their purpose.

I really like the way that you've looked at these different structures within nature. Its interesting to think that all around us within nature, animals are cleverly crafting their own homes and devices to enable them to survive. It would be interesting to contrast the habits and talents of the animals against that of humans to see how we differ. There are bound to be similarities!
