Making Final Work

Here are a few pictures of us making the final pieces for our work.
First we pasted the photos we had taken of people onto different types of fabric using image maker.

We then had to leave them to dry over night.

The next day we rubbed off the remaining paper using a wet cloth.

Once dry we cut each paper out separately.

Although this seemed to be a very lengthy process. and it was irritating to see a lot of the white paper show up again once dried, I really like the overall effect this technique has given to the images.

  2. This time consuming technique has definitely paid off as its so nice to see the way that each of the individual images look so unique on the pieces of material. I also like the way that the fabric brings an element of textiles into what would otherwise be mainly a photography project. Jessie
